Can I keep reserved development cards face down? Official

Yes. The designer confirmed that reserved cards stay in your hand and are private information until purchased. The card you reserve from the face-up market was public before you took it, so allow everyone a chance to see the market before moving it.

Is a gold token tied to the card I reserved?

No. A gold token is a wild payment token in your supply and can be spent toward any later card purchase, not only the reserved card.

Can I take two matching gems when only three are in the supply?

No. The supply must contain at least four tokens of that color immediately before you take the pair.

If I could claim a second noble last turn, can I still take it later?

Yes. You can claim at most one eligible noble at the end of each turn. If another eligible noble is still available on a later turn, you can claim it then. Color bonuses are not spent when you take a noble.
