Cards & Components
The visible Splendor pieces, illustrated market examples, and setup pointers.
The setup illustration is from the official 2024 English rulebook. The current card and noble examples are from the publisher’s 2024 edition gallery and noble gallery. These are sample images rather than complete face sheets; unsupported faces are listed below. The Cities scan is an earlier module booklet; its component art is not mixed into the current-edition examples.

 | Level 1, blue bonus, 1 prestige. This face costs 4 red. |
| — | Coverage gap: the current edition has 90 development cards. Only the three distinct current-edition faces above can be isolated with legible values from the publisher’s sample; the public source does not provide a complete face set. |
Tiles

|---|
| — | Noble tiles each show 3 prestige and a requirement made of development-card bonus colors. The 2024 rules confirm ten tiles in the set. |
| — | The 30 Orient development cards add special effects to the three market levels. The current rulebook explains their effect families, but a readable complete face sheet was not found; the individual card costs and faces remain a gap. |
| — | The seven double-sided Cities tiles carry alternate city thresholds and color-card requirements. A readable component-face source was not found, so their individual values are not transcribed. |
Tokens & pieces
| Picture | Component and use |
|---|
| — | The base game contains 35 colored gem tokens (seven of each of five colors) and five gold tokens. Gold substitutes for any color when paying. Public component photographs do not show a clean isolated image of each token face. |
| — | Trading Posts uses five powers, with one tile of each power per player. The twelve Strongholds are three markers per player. Faces to be added; see module rules and Strongholds. |
| — | The 2024 Silk Road expansion contains Cities and Trading Posts. Its components are described in the current official rulebook; the printed module pieces are not all shown clearly in public images. |
Icons
Gem colors identify payment and permanent card bonuses. A white gem symbol on a card cost can be covered by a white token or gold; each matching bonus symbol reduces the required number by one. Prestige numerals count toward the 15-point end trigger. Noble and city requirements count your permanent development-card bonuses, not tokens in your supply.
